An acoustic overloaded World emerges from the interplay between sounds and images. The main characters hearing is hypersensitive and damaged. Like a blind man he uses his hands to identify his surrounding and to escape the over-powering world of acoustic events. ’silence‘ is an indirect dialogue with the composer and artist John Cage.
From the combination of image and sound results a multidimensional psychological profile of an inner struggle. Images and soundtrack create a feeling of pressure, comparable with the constant proliferation of audiovisual information.
