From June 16th until August 11th, 2024 the 21st Brandenburgische Kunstpreis opens its doors at the Schloß Neuhardenberg. I am participating with a large-format drawing.
I will be there on Sunday, July 7th at noon when this year’s winners will be announced inside the beautiful garden of the Chateau.
Last but not least I would like to recommend the decentralized radio festival called Radio Industry. Radio Industry is part of the Freie Radio Woltersdorf, which is our local community radio station.
Dearest friends,
my next solo show opens on November 4th, 2022 at the This Is Not True gallery in Bremen, Germany.
The show is called Pause and it will run until November 25th, 2022.
In addition to many small works on paper and some canvases, I am presenting 2 new silkscreen editions, which are also sold directly through the gallery.
(We are currently still working on an online shop so that we will be able to send the prints all over the world.)
Find me and the gallery right here: thisisnottruegallery.com
From September 7th, 2022 to October 1st, 2022, the third edition of the great exhibition series Drawing Wow will take place in Vienna, Austria at Minuseins. Drawing Wow 3 combines a variety of contemporary and classic drawing positions. I am represented with a large work on canvas from 2020.

A show titled Move Along will be held at the Center for Digital Art in Holon, Israel, until the end of September 2022. The film Five Studies, which was created in collaboration with the Israeli choreographer May Zarhy and the animation artist Tal Kantor, will be shown there. I was not only involved in the concept, camera, and editing work but was able to create the soundtrack for the film.
From June 18th, until August 24th, 2022 you can visit the Anonyme Zeichner group exhibition at the Galerie im Körnerpark in Berlin, Germany.
An excellent exhibition concept in which I have already been able to take part a few times and where you can see and search (because it is all anonymous) for small works by many great colleagues and me.
From July 10th, 2022 to August 21, 2022, the group exhibition of the finalists of this year’s Brandenburg Art Prize will take place in the Castle Neuhardenberg in Neuhardenberg, Germany. I am represented with one work and I particularly recommend visiting the award ceremony on August 14, 2022, at 12 p.m.

Towards the end of the german lockdown the choreographer Meg Stuart asked me to join her on the roof of the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin to work on a very special set of performances. The roof is famous for its curved shape and is also known as the „pregnant oyster“.
The roof of the HKW couldn´t have been a better setting for the last days of the lockdown. Up there, vis-à-vis the chancellery, the Reichstag, and the Goldelse statue, with a 360-degree view towards Potsdamer Platz, Tiergarten, Charité hospital, Berlin central station, and our new upper westside, time was standing still for one last moment before the city picked itself up again. During the daytime, the empty tourist boats floated down the river Spree, while empty travel busses honked for their bare survival in the distance. (only one of many protests)
At the end of the day, after we finished filming and when the sun was low and a small breeze pushed the hot summer day aside, it felt so peaceful up there, almost as if Berlin was forever caught in a deep sleep.
The 4 videos we created can be watched right this way: HKW Meg Stuart
My solo exhibition KOji II will be open from August 29th, 2020 until October 25th, 2020. Due to the current covid situation, we are not having a party and keep it very small and simple instead.
If you choose to travel to Woltersdorf, I´ll be delighted to see you, but I can totally understand if you´d rather stay at home.
