These drawings are an echo or an after-thought of the project Inseln.
After the Inseln exhibition in 2016, some of the panels were sanded down. Not all the way so that the paintings would vanish, but rather to dissolve into the background becoming one with the plywood and link back to its past.
New drawings were then added, creating another rather crisp layer.
