places

´places´ is an ongoing series of short video documentations.
The series started in 2003 with the video ´train´ and has been slowly growing eversince.
All places are in 16:9 format, between 1 and 15 minutes long and they should be presented on TVs scattered in a room.

What happens with the material if filmed through a colored glass? How does it change a place if you are using the „wrong“ White Balance? What does it mean to document a place? Are you documenting how you see that place, how the camera sees that place, how someone else would see that place, how you felt that day, the circumstances that took you to that place…?
