(r)evolution

3 channel video installation consisting of 3 flat-screen monitors + 3 times stereo sound

´(r)evolution´ is playing with symbols about the birth of our civilization.
On the center-screen a camera is continuously rotating through some kind of subway or metro access or underpass. On the right screen the camera slowly moves along a huge half-filled aquarium. On the left monitor one sees a deserted industrial landscape, with huge furnaces referencing the past industrialisation, or pointing into the future representing cocoon buildings of generations to come. No signs of human life, just 3 forgotten cameras observing 3 forgotten places.
The sounds are also rather strange, foreign and surreal. Mysterious bird voices mingle with the distant roaring of industrial noise.
